Railroad Days is committed to the preservation and prosperity of Camak. Work began in 2011 to restore the Mayes Cemetery located in the heart of Camak neary US Highway 80. The site has been cleared of all overgrown vegetation and preparations have been made to make necessary toombstone repairs and install a fence around the area. Once completed, this site will qualify for a Georgia Historical Marker.
